Who We Are
The City of Burlington Recreation Department is a branch of the City of Burlington designated to service the recreation, health and fitness needs of the community. We provide areas of recreation at our 15 recreation sites.  The programs provided by the Department are available for preschool through senior citizens and encompass: educational, cultural, social, leadership, athletic, fitness, citizenship, and volunteer opportunities.

To get started, Create an Account with all your household information. Only one household per account and accounts must be created by an adult / parent (for minors). Account residency approvals will only take place Monday- Friday, excluding holidays, during regular business hours. When you’re ready to start registering for activities, be sure to review the How to Register for an Activity page.
You may register and pay online using a credit card or check.

How to Reserve a Facility

Reserving a City facility is a simple process. To begin, users must first create a Household Account through our online registration system. Once the account has been created and you are logged in, navigate to the Facilities section and click Reserve a Facility. Select your location, input your date, and follow the prompts to submit your request. To view available dates, please see our calendar.

All facility requests are subject to approval.

Other Services
We also provide event requests & permits, facility use requests, and boat permits through our online system. Boat permit request open on April 1 each year.
