Seasonal Boat Ramp Permits — Registration Now Open!
Use this registration for Seasonal Boat Ramp Registration opens April 1. Permits can be conveniently purchased online, and all boat and trailer registrations must match the account holder’s address.
Purchasing Your Permit Online
All boat permits must be requested through our online system. You must first create a household account in our registration system and then you will have the ability to purchase the boat permit. Be sure your online account information is complete and accurate before submitting your request this includes uploading valid boat and trailer registration as well as your proof of residence.
In-Person Permit Requests (Appointment Required)
In-person registration is available by appointment only.
To schedule an in-person visit, please follow these steps carefully:
- Complete your onlinehousehold account prior to scheduling.
- Call 609-386-4070 to make an appointment.
- Bring the following items to your appointment:
- A valid driver’s license
- A valid trailer registration
- A valid boat registration
- Payment, one of the following:
- Exact cash
- Check or money order made payable to the City of Burlington
- Credit card or EFT check
Important Reminder:
Boat and trailer registration information must be updated each season! It also match the account holder’s address to be approved.
Plan ahead, complete your online account early, and schedule your appointment if you plan to register in person. We look forward to another great season on the water!

How to Upload Your Documents for your boat permit:
- Go to the MyRec, Home Page. In the upper right-hand corner click on the circle icon with the person in the middle.
- After clicking on the circle icon, you will arrive at your personal account page and will need to click on your name (or the name of the person in your household who registered for the boat permit) located inside the central box.
- Once you click on your name you will arrive at your personal account member page. Scroll down to the bottom.
- When you get to the bottom of your individual member page you will see “Member Documents” and will be able to upload the required documents.
