The City of Burlington Cheerleading Program serves children ages 5 to 14 years old and is designed to be an exciting, supportive, and enriching experience for youth in our community. This program is about much more than cheering it focuses on building confidence, teamwork, leadership, and community pride in a fun and safe environment. Open to both beginners and experienced cheerleaders, participants will learn age appropriate cheers, routines, and performance skills while developing strength, coordination, and self esteem. The City of Burlington Cheerleading Program participates alongside the Tri-County United Football League (TCUFL), which competes throughout the South Jersey area and is considered a local travel program. Cheerleaders support City of Burlington football teams and represent the City with positivity and sportsmanship at games and league events. Cheer squads are organized by age based divisions:
- 6U: ages 5-6
- 8U: ages 7-8
- 10U: ages 9-10
- 12U: ages 11-12
- 14U: ages 13-14
Teams will only be formed if there are enough registered participants and certified volunteers available. All coaches and volunteers must meet certification requirements set by the City, State, and League. If you are interested in volunteering as a coach, team parent, or assistant, please reach out to the program supervisor. The registration fee covers administrative costs only. Additional fees may apply and could include uniforms, bows, practice apparel, warm-ups, team pictures, trophies, and end-of-season celebrations.Registration opens May 1st and closes September 11, 2026.
